It looks 10x better than Sonic 4 though, and a lot of people liked that

The more recent Sonic games are like young, blonde slags. Nice looking but very little depth, and once you get some way into them you're ultimately disappointed and after it all you are left with nothing but unfulfilment a sense of regret.

Re: New Sonic game looks good (again)
Why can't they just port the arcade game to use joysticks instead and call it a day! Any other attempt is just futile
unless they bring back the yamaha sound and some decent tunes and sprites sonic won't be sonic.
That is all

That's the only way I like my blondes. Minus that disappointment and regret part, you must be sleeping with the wrong onesidc wrote:The more recent Sonic games are like young, blonde slags. But based on the screens it looks like I'll be passing again.

With the way Sonic games appear to be going, I fully expect the next game to be an HD remake of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

In all honesty, has Sonic ever actually been all that good?

Well I liked the first ones, they were impressive at the time. Lush pesentation, graphics, sound and speed. The levels dragged on a bit round windy set paths though. I don't think they've aged as well as, say, Mario.
