Mega CD Recommendations

Post by SuperPang »

Looking for some good Japanese titles to play on the Wondermega. So far I've got Sonic CD, Final Fight CD, Wonderdog and Dennin Aleste. I know the Mega CD was hardly brimming with classics but what are the must-haves?

Pretty sure there is no JP MegaCD Snatcher.
The Sega CD version was created for the USA.

And Popful Mail is awesome.

Yo fool, you got one then did you? Price, JVC/Sega, boxed unboxed, RGB modded - do tell?

MCD don't have much (Wonderdog is a bit pap too), here's what I own/would buy:

Sonic CD
Final Fight
Dennin Aleste
Switch
Bari Arm
Snatcher
Popful Mail
Time Gal
Road Avenger/Cobra Command
The Ninja Warriors
Keio's Flying Squadron (rock hard)

So pretty much everything already covered. :awe:

I nabbed Barrys-Arm, Popful Mail and Silpheed off Play-Asia for about £72 shipped which was better than the silly ebay BIN prices. Probably could've got them cheaper on YAJ but I couldn't be arsed.

With the mod is it internal or is there a hole drilled in the case? Also, is it multi region (as in playing US discs too?)

Just Genesis carts. It uses the spare pins on the existing AV out.

I won a Keio Yuugekitai for 4,100 Yen which seems like a good deal.
