I am still playing Ridge Racer, just do a 4 race event every time I get a chance. Turning 3D off seems to give it a speed boost, possibly 60fps.

Still some good titles confirmed and dated by Ninty today.

I've kinda forgotten about the 3DS. Prices keep coming down though. I'll probably get one soon. Mainly I'm waiting for it to get some Shigero magic.

This can't be as widely popular as the DS has been. You can't really hold it like a book so it loses the old fart appeal. Plus the whole 3D thing just frightens the old folk.

Nintendo's 2nd 3D attempt isn't gonna work out for them. Well, 3D Sucks anyway. Too bad but expected it after such a poor start!

Since the eShop came around I've been using my 3DS a lot more (I skipped the DSi generation). Disappointed at the lack of 3DS titles on there as in the shops, but there's plenty of good other material (even if it's pretty expensive compared to XBLA, Steam etc.).
This is my first time through Zelda OOT also, I never got into my GCN copy after all but completing WW and the GBA and DS Zeldas.

I find myself turning off the 3D on the train - it works well when stationary but then you forget it's even there and take it for granted s what's the point :)

Apparently the UK price cut is around a third, hopefully will be able to pick one up for 100-120 quid.

Yeah I'll give it a year or 2 months, wait for more games releases and the prices to drop. I definitely wanna play some of the games that have ben released or are due to be released, but I'm not so bothered to spunk money I don't have on them. Also, still slightly sceptical about the 3D thing. I come out of 3D films with headaches and just a couple hours on the cab makes my eyes feel like they're ready to explode. Maybe I need glasses.

But whatever, I'm not fussed about the 3D, so don't really feel like I wanna pay extra for it, you know! I'm interested in the games. I also have a gaming to-do list as long as my arm with MAME and the PS3 so don't mind waiting until they drop in price and I'm looking for some new games to excite me.

:)

The lack of AAA games is holding it back. There are few must have titles for it at present, they needed a Mario or similar at launch or a few weeks after to give it momentum. Also released it the wrong time of year, cant see many kids getting one for easter or birthday, the xmas market should have been targeted. I am happy with mine, but the eShop prices are ridiculous for some of the games.

it's also off the rrp, which most online stores, and several high street stores have been doing for months.

Personally i'm happy with the 20 free games, there is anything between £50 and £100 of content there based on current pricing
