Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hell, hello there!
I'm Filipe. 29 years old from Portugal! Land of good wine, nice beaches, excelent food and Cristiano Ronaldo!
I decided to register in order to understand this hobby a little bit more. I'm still fairly new, but slowly getting more aquainted with the terms.
I've been a lurker for some time, but not anymore! Love the conversion projects, specially the Universal Naomis to New Net City. I've been on a lookout for a Naomi Universal to convert because Candy Cabs are impossible to find here! Maybe one day I can import one...
I currently own:
- MV1FZ ( Stopped working, waiting for eproms to burn diagnose Bios)
- MV1B (To do: Stero Mod and Universe Bios. Getting a NeoBiosMasta is gonna be expensive due to import dutties...)
- Pinball Action, bootleg ( Shows signs of life, but busted to hell. Documentation on these is very dificult)
Recently i've made an Minigun Supergun (Thanks Frank for the Open-Source project!), and now I can start collecting!
Cheers guys!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hey all, I'm Jordan (or Chief).
I've always had an interest in arcade games but haven't delved too deep into real hardware. I have an original Space Invaders Color cocktail table from Japan that I got some time around 2016 and it was working up until recently, so I'm hoping to be able to fix it soon!
I managed to get a 1-slot Neo Geo board recently for a good price and thought it would be fun to build a bartop arcade, as I've basically got infinite time now because of the whole virus thing and have most of the parts I need. I'm planning on using the guts of a Thomson 4165 CRT (analog and digital RGB inputs) which should allow the cab to be wide enough for 2 sets of joystick + 6 buttons, perfect for CPS2 fighters whenever I get one of those.
I have far more electronics experience than woodworking experience, but I still want to style the bartop after some kind of candy cab that I played on as a kid in Japan. The Irem Madonna seems simple enough however I'm very open to other suggestions! I would love to make it look like an Egret 2 but the curves are a bit too complicated.
Anyway, glad to be here.

Hey!
My name is Miles. I joined the forum specifically in search of a candy cab to buy, since I've already got an American standup style cab. Been collecting since about this time last year when I bought an MV1C; its been a downward spiral ever sense

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi, I'm Mud and I'm new here. Seems most people make some kind of a joke here.... Sorry, I'll have to get back to you on that. I haven't used a forum in 15 years, but I need to get my Astro City working, and I really hope someone here can help!!
I live in Tokyo, and I'm obsessed with Capcom games, hence the handle. I also enjoy Cap'n Crunch cereal. But alas, in Japan all we can get is flakes and granola. Fun cereal isn't allowed I guess. And right now I need to have some fun because we have this pandemic and I can no longer go to the arcade, and I have an Astro City just sitting here in my house begging to be played, but I have no idea how to get it working.... More on this soon....
Thank you in advance for your wisdom!
