I'm Brandon. I finally had room to get an arcade cab and picked up a naomi upright. I've slowly been restoring it back to naomi/jvs (it was running a jamma 60 in 1), and i bought a set of sit down rails and Japanese CP. I've relied on the wiki and forums heavily for the last few months.

Hi all, recently found this board. My real name is Jordan, and I've been collecting retro consoles and computers for a while but recently decided to try and move on from mame for my favorite games. Currently have a CPS2 multi, HAS supergun, and Saturn Virtua Stick Pro (with mods) - no MVS but I have an AES with darksoft multi too. Trying to locally sell my mame cab and buy a candy to put my arcade games in. I'm all looking to pick up more multis, mortal kombat games, konami/taito beat em ups, and most any shmups. I'm from New Orleans where we don't have a very large scene and a ton of hidden treasures that were burried in attics/garages/storage units were destroyed in katrina so its not too common to stumble upon good local deals. Just looking to meet like minded people, relive my childhood, and introduce my kids to actual good games (as opposed to the BS games they want to play on their iphones lol).

Hello!
This is Frank from south Italy!
I currently own one arcade board, but I'm looking for more :) I'm an electronic engineer and I like to restore old computers and related device from the 1970s and 1980s decades.

Hi guys!

I'm interested in having my own arcade since I was a child. I had some jamma boards connected to a supergun including a MVS with several games but recently I finally adquired an Astro City, so my dreams are coming true. I hope to make new friends here.
Greetings from Spain.

Hello!

I've recently bought my first cab, a New Astro City. I'm on the lookout for a 1 slot MVS motherboard and some games.
I'll probably be spending most of my time in the Marketplace.

Greetings from Sweden!

Hello!

Novice arcade collector who stumbled upon your forums.

I currently own an upright Outrun, a Neo Geo 4 slot MVS and an Altered Beast cab. Waiting to pick up an empty Aero City that I'll turn into a multi game cab I think.

Cheers!

Hello guys,
I am maddec. I am a Retro collector for more than 20 years in video game consoles from Vectrex to game & watch, from famicom to super nintendo and later.
I jumped into arcade few years ago by buying a Taito Egret II and a R-TYPE pcb.
Back at the time, I played mostly Shinobi and various shooters with my coins.
Most arcade memorable moment: playing on Sega R360 in my local arcade in the 90ies & Darius 3 screen cabinet in Akihabara Taito station.

I am a Japan enthusiast studying the language for several years now and went several times in Japan to hunt some rarities outside of Superpotatoes :).

On my watching list currently: Taito stool(really sick of my current ones), Konami Battlantis, Konami Haunted Castle, R-Type II, Super Mario VS, Castlevania VS, Gunbird II.

Happy to join !
Retro collector. Japan enthusiast. Castlevania completionist. R-Type hardcore player.

Hello, my name is Brandon, I’m a video game collector who is just getting into the arcade hobby. Just picked up a sega blast city cabinet locally; trying to learn a thing or two and figure out what I should pick up in terms of games (research so far suggest picking up a ar-pi-cade

Hoping to also pick up some taito stools at some point to!

Greetings,

Watashi no namae ha Daniel (Who doesn't own a japanese keyboard...)

I've been collecting arcades for about 10years now, at the moment the basement is equipped with 2NC, 1NNC, 1NUC, Virtual Pinball, Lethal Enforcers *pew**pew* & TV-game.
The garage is the current home for 4 Blast citys, air hockey, Mega33 and 3 pokercabinets which will be converted to dedicabs.

That's about it for now :)

You don't need a Japanese keyboard. You should be able to set a localized keyboard in your operating system and switch between them. Then just type the characters that build up the hiragana you're trying to type using your native keyboard. E.g. 私の名前はダニェルだ。
