Heya,

I'm from Nevada, USA. I'm pretty new to all of this. I picked up my first NAOMI back in September and been grabbing others since then (STV and Neo Geo MVS, for now), and been putting together a supergun while trying to figure it all out. It's been pretty fun.

Hello,

after moving to a bigger house I could finally add some arcade machines to my video games collection.
Right now I have:
- RFM Pinball Machine
- Asteroids Upright
- Satan of Saturn (half height wall-mounted)
- Weche OK Baby 15kHz (frequently switching between MVS, ST-V and PS2)
- Naomi Universal 31kHz (just fetched this machine a few days ago, going to chop and re-paint)

Glad to be finally here :-)
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany!

Hi guys!

I've been a fan of shooters for nearly 5 years now. Recently got into street fighter. Since I've moved out I really want a astro city cabinet for my game room. Still new to all the techie bits.

But I have a lot of love for arcades! Game street in Paris I visited last year. And the dodonpachi and espgaluda games were so fun!

I need one in my life now! So Much haha I

Hello all,

I'm a big fan of Taiko no Tatsujin, and I just received my first arcade part for taiko yesterday. :awe:

I just decided to start my collection, and I hope that I can collect all generations of taiko someday, which I think will be awesome.

Hi,

I'm looking at getting back into arcade cabinet collection again (once I've moved house!).

In the past I've owned a Mr Do; Outrun upright (with very dodgy steering); various generic Jamma cabinets; couple of table tops and an awesome Primal Rage cabinet which I turned into a MAME cab about 10 years ago. Owned lot's of boards and became a dab hand at soldering! Had to sell the lot over a couple of years. With the Primal Rage cabinet being the last one to go after I moved from a large rental to a very small property in Oxford! Saying goodbye to the Primal Rage cabinet was one of the saddest days of my life.

In my time I've also started and ran the Japanese Computer Emulation Centre (http://www.jcec.co.uk") - still actively hosted but not updated since 2007. Owned a Sharp X68000 and many different MSX systems. I love Japanese computer systems and arcade games.

Anyway great to see a forum like this for arcade aficionados! Looking to buy a JAMMA compatible cabinet so let me know if you have one for sale!

Cheers,
John

Hey all,

I'm THB from Australia and currently have a small collection of arcade machines in my basement. Among them is a blast city which needs a little TLC and to be upgraded to a two player setup.

I also have a LAI Wec Le Mans standup no frills chipboard special, a weird Coffin cab with space invaders galaxian artwork.... (mame'd and TV'd) and an old cocktail cab.

I hope to become an active member of the community. :)

Hi all, Im Brett, I used to work in the arcade industry some 20 years ago, owned a few cabs back then and life got in the way, now I work in I.T. and fancy a cab to get back into this scene :)
Really looking for a New Astro City or an Egret 2.b :wtf:

Hey everyone,
Decided it was finally time to register over here at AO now that it's looking like I'll have my very first candy. (New Astro City, thanks to Windy Gaming!)

I don't have a cab yet but I do have a JAMMA supergun (shout outs to Xian Xi, the best!) and a modest little collection of boards to run on it. Still very much a noob but I'm always learning.

Hi everyone! I've been a long time lurker here at AO. My name is Chris. I'm a freelance sculptor for Sideshow Collectibles. Always been in love with the arcade. I have learned a lot from peeking through the forum. Thankful this place exists. I own one Sega Astro City cabinet.

Greetings from Providence, RI
