My name is Pär and I'm from Sweden.

I find joy in almost all kinds of games. I mostly play retro games but I also like the bleeding edge. I'm into game preservation and hardware restoration.

I have a New Astro City with a MiSTer inside. I mostly play MVS on it but more recently me and my girlfriend have been duking it out with Dr Mario. It's our FIGHT TO THE DEATH game but we usually play it on Famicom so now that we play on the arcade instead I've become more engaged with making sure the machine is happy.

That's when I found this place.

Up up down down left right left right b a. Hi I'm Dan. I completed Double Dragon at Thornton Heath swimming baths aged 8. I walked 5 miles home from Streatham Ice Rink aged 9 because I spent my bus fare on another game of Rampage. I was always late for school because I missed the bus as I was in the local cafe playing WWF. In college I was too busy playing Mortal Kombat to get to lessons, and in University I spent a lot of my student loan on Point Blank. I sold my first GameBoy when I was 11, and have been involved in videogames in one form or another for most of my life. I'm craving a Candy cab to while away my days and revisit old friends. Hello!

Hi, I'm Alex, and am completely new to arcade stuff. I get the feeling I'm on the younger side here being 20 years old, but I saw MVG's review on candy cabs and thought having one would be a really cool display piece, so after some google searches I ended up here. Looking foward to talking with you all on the forums!

Hi there. I'm a collector with a mix of video and pinball games. I teach programming to children, and have my games at the place were I teach. That way, I get visitors in my arcade :)

What's up guys? I'm 6vibe and I currently have 3 cabinets (Neo Geo 4 slot, a wood conversion, and an Atomiswave SD). I only started in this arcade hobby last year (2019). This year I started buying more arcade boards and I have a few that need to be repaired so I'm glad to be here!

Wassup everyone, coming out of Northern California, U.S.. My name is Marv, and I’ve been into home arcade gaming for about 20 years now. I started out messing with U.S. cabs and Mame a long time ago. I finally had the time and resources to get into Japanese Candy Cab gaming. I’m slowly trying to complete my home arcade and eventually start a local arcade gaming group. I currently have an MK midway Cab, U.S. Neo Geo 2 Slot MVS, 5 Arcade1ups, 2 pachinkos, 1 Pachislo, Namco Noir clone, Vewlix clone(Chewlix), Sega Lindbergh, and a Sega Blast City. Not to mention all the other home console stuff I got. All this and no space, lols! Feel free to ask me any questions if you need assistance on any of the stuff listed above. I’m not a pro but I’m always happy to try to help!

Hi Everyone,

I'm extremely new in owning my own Arcade Cab. After getting the green light from the wife to bring in a twin linked cab I found a local machine that brought some fond memories (Initial d Stage 3). It was only after I had picked it up did I realize that I was over my head.

Master cab was running but in pieces to test functionality, however the 2nd cab was off and in pieces. After taking it home and hooking everything up a few friends of mine starting noticing minor issues

-steering wheel was off
-shifter would occasionally double shift up
-Machines did not come with crt monitors.
-Card machine function inop.

Since owning this for 3-4 months we've been able to relocate it to the basement but are still having issues getting it fixed. I look forward to speaking to you guys in helping me figure this all out.

Regards,
Genma
