Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi! I've lurked the forum (and arcade communities in general) for a while now but only decided to make an account now...
It's not concrete yet, but I've been looking into opening an arcade in my home city. It's a far out dream but nothing is impossible, right?

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello, ArcadeOtaku World!
I'm a software developer from Brazil. One of my favorite games is Samba de Amigo, and I always wanted to play the arcade version of the game, but never found one... now I plan to solve that by building one on my own - in virtual reality!
I'd really appreciate if someone could help me find out more details about the arcade dimensions and artwork - a few good pictures of the sides and front of the cabinets might be good enough to help me create a 3D model. I already found a few on the web (and on Twitter), but either blurry and/or with low resolution...
This is for an open source project, and the final result will be publicly available.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hey everyone.
Been lurking various places for a few months(years lol) and noticed I'm not a member yet...
I've been more of a gamer than machine maintenance guy but after picking up a dead candy cab, dead woody and a dead Golden Tee, I've had to do a bit of reading to pretend I know what I'm doing
See you all around

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hey guys,
New user from the UK here, I'm Dave
I've probably been collecting arcade cabs for about 6 or 7 years now, I've been storing them for that time waiting to buy my own house, build my own game room etc etc. in 2019 bought the house and NOW in late 2023/2024 is when the garage will be converted into my game room!
Finally this month I've got around to starting to service the CRTs, I've found your wiki page to be very helpful but also found information not on there that was useful to me. I decided to register and hope (if you're happy) to contribute further info to further build up the wiki on the monitors.
I look forward to joining the community and contributing what I find

Thanks, I've got so many ideas of things to add to the MS8 and MS9 pages on the Wiki. for now, here's my MS8 video (not the best, but not the worst). https://youtu.be/bmqs0XvO_6w?si=b3itZ9KX11ADNNa0 with the help of this forum's wiki I was able to repair it!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Good morning, My name is Fabrice, I am 42 years old. And I have been a fan of video games since my childhood. I love platform games but also Shoot Them Up that I discovered with Dodonpachi on Saturn (for me it was a slap in the face and a revelation). I have been collecting for a good 15 years. And even if I think I'm reaching the end of my research. I always have 2, 3 games that I'm looking for. At the same time there are so many little-known games. Ah otherwise I forgot to say that I am France and live in the middle of this country. Among cows and sheep. Looking forward to reading you.
