Hello Everyone,

I grew up in arcades and just started diving into this rabbit hole. I don't own any cabinets yet but I hope to eventually have at least one for old school games and a newer one (like a Chewlix) for newer games. I recently got a raspberry pi and loaded retropi on it. I've been having a blast playing games I haven't seen in years and wanted to relive that experience with a cab.

I live in Albuquerque, NM which was always 5 years behind places like California for newer things. I've never seen a candy cab in person and didn't know they existed until I saw them online 2 months ago.

I look forward to diving into the forums to learn as much as I can. Thanks!
Failure doesn't mean the GAME IS OVER, It means try again with EXPERIENCE.

Heyo!

Long time first time! I got into arcade ridiculousness somewhere around 2005 through the Tetris The Grand Master series, and now I spend more time arguing about aspect ratios and polling rates than I ever imagined I would. Most recently excited about setting up emulator frontends on a Sega Astro City. Actually, the silliest / most difficult part was getting the cab to power off after not receiving input and then powering back on when you hit a button. It works!

Cheers,
-mat

Hey. I'm from the US, east coast. Owned a huge crappy Dynamo showcase cab for a year, just upgraded to a gorgeous New Astro City. Got some questions though, hoping I can glean some knowledge here and there!

Hello, I'm Mark in SoCal.

I have an Egret II and a New Net City.

I just need one more game before my collection is complete.

Hello,

My name is Craig. I have been a member of klov for about 13 years now.

I spent my entire childhood in arcades in the 80's so my tastes lean more towards the classics. I ran out of room collecting full cabinets so I switched to collecting PCB's. I will be offering some of them up for sale on here.

I am Susana Margot. I love this hobbie. I grew up in Gaming Centers because thats actually our family business.
My grandfather started 50 to 60 years ago so I am third generation. I have not experience in Forums, so please be patient with me.
Now, for fun, I sell all the PCBs that we no longer use. :D

Anecdote
When I was a younger, much younger, I used to give tokens to the hottest guys so they would be my boyfriends... hahaha ... I would give them a bag with 100 tokens.
