Re: Introduce yourself here!
You may want to post up a 'wanted' on here for a 2L12B panel for it, otherwise I'll have to break out the Qmax hole cutter...
Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello Otaku,
Am relatively new to the arcade-collecting scene, but have been hanging out at Jamma+ for a few months and have become addicted to fixing arcade PCB's. I have a passion for shoot-em-ups (such as; r-type, Darius, etc..) and have worked in game development for about 17 years now (love games).
Regards,
Nimajamin

Hello. My name is John from Los Angeles. Just picked up my first Candy Cab. It's a Sega Astro City. It's in rough shape but it's going to be fun to restore.
Re: Introduce yourself here!
I'm here now. On shmups and a bunch of other forums, though mostly silent and chilling in the background. Kicking the background here now too.

Hi, i'm Tibo from France.
I own a Sega Astro City and an Alpine Racer (in restoration for ages unfortunately).
I love versus fighting games, though I'm quite bad at it :-p

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Long time shmups player. Spent my whole life playing on ghetto tate setups... Finally decided I need to get me a cab! My place is TINY but I'm going to try my best to track down a Mini Cute
I think its a lovely cab! I grew up playing on Astro Citys at my local arcade so i'd love to own one of them but unless I find one for an amazing price it will have to wait till my house is larger than a single room.
Sadly the Australian arcade scene is lacking to say the least. Their is a very greedy mentality here with retro games in general; everyone seems to think they are sitting on a gold-mine and its rare to see used cab for sale here less that $1000.
;sigh; Maybe I'll find a mini cute on my trip to Japan this year and just take the massive freight hit...

There are Plenty of nice cabs your side of the pond, well in Sydney and Melbourne. Try this mob: http://www.highway.net.au/arcade-machin ... -cabinets/"
It doesn't help you any, but bargain price for a Noir: http://www.highway.net.au/arcade-machin ... 726-1.html"
minicutes are pretty rare in general, so good luck with hunt!
