Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi all guys!!!
I'm Michele from Italy.
I'm 30 years old and I love retro-games like Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Mega Man etc. etc..
I approched to cabs games a couple of years ago, when I came into possession of my first (and unique ) cab, a Naomi Universal.
I finally decided to join this forum because I have always heard great things about it.
I have just one question:
How do I post in the "Marketplace"?
He tells me that I can not read topics on that section...and not even send private messages to users.
There is something that I missed?
Sorry for this stupid question, but I'm new here! ;D

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello,
My last post was apparently Jan 12, 2010.
Looking to get back into this nonsense again.
Don't own any cabs anymore, but looking to move into a bigger place next year and, you know, fill it out with an Egret or two.
For this year I will mostly be focusing on getting a Sony BVM or PVM and building a little 15Hz MAME project to tide me over.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi guys!
Found this site while searching for answers to some questions I am having with my Sega Versus City. Hope to talk shop and learn a few things!
I have about 9 machines in my basement:
Sega Super GT x4 linked
Golden Tee Fore Complete
Carnival King
Point Blank
Buck Hunter
Sega Versus City with a Pandora's Box V3 in it (which is causing me to pull out my hair and lose hours of sleep)
See you guys around!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi
parodius there, a french guy exiled in Asia (Hong Kong, Tokyo then HK again) since 2007.
Started buying arcade pcbs in the early 2000's.
I've had quite a few pcbs since then, some i've kept some i've sold, as well as superguns (homemade, then MAK, then Vega Jr, Combo AV & Pana Twin Custom) and candy cabs (New Astro City & Egret II).
Most of the stuff I sold when I left France.
After a few years of hiatus from the arcade world, my games stashed in boxes, i've now come back to it.
Right now with me in HK i've only got a NUC converted to New Net City (Pentranic chassis fried recently, need to install a new one I got from Wei Ya) and a Sigma AV 5000 as my main gaming rigs.
Mostly into shmups and brawlers, I like arcade style racing games as well (Outrun 2...) I've got about 60-70 pcbs right now including 3/4 of cave's production ~12 of which as kits, and a few "modern" systems such as Naomi, Chihiro...
I though I registered on AO forums around 2007, but I'm not sure ?
Anyways here I am now.
Cheers

Hi I'm Richard,
been obsessed with gaming since a young age and miss the 8bit 16bit games of my youth.
Been building my own cabs for a while and would now love a candycab.

Hello, I'm Alex from near London.
I am hoping to start a collection of fighting games, even if I suck at them.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello guys, I'm Yoann, 35, from France !
I have been collecting videogames, especially from SEGA, since 2002. Fall 2004, I've entered the world of Arcade when I bought my first item : a SegaSonic ROMboard with its interface for trackballs ! Then I bought a motherboard for it, then a cabinet,...
I actually own two cabinets : an Aero City, and a NAC.
I've been running a French SEGA fansite since I've begun my collection, known for some cool tutorials about consoles (such as the 32X regionfree mod) : http://www.segakore.fr/
I'm also running a blog, where I'm regulary talking about Arcade : http://igrekkess.free.fr/blog/index.php/arcade/
One my actual hobbies, when I'm not looking for a way to "desuicide" my dead Dark Edge, is to design some SEGA cabinet papercrafts
Cheers !
