Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hey guys,
I'm from the Baltimore/DC area of the US. Recently I've been seeking out the PCBs of unported games from all eras. I'm a big shoot 'em up fan, and also love the CPS2 era fighters. Right now I'm working on a supergun, but hope to eventually upgrade to a decent candy cab, perhaps an Astro City or an Egret.
I can dream, right?

Hi
UK based near London
Recently took the plunge from mame boxes to jamma cabs.
Bought a great primal rage from Jamma+ member
4mth later it went bang!
Not fixed yet.
Have some pcbs too
Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands, 3 Wonders, SplatterHouse - all the essential games on the list
Looking to get an Egret2 or AstroCity or Naomi with jamma closer to Christmas...

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Been reading the forums for a while, but just registered today, partly so I can read the for sale sections (don't tell the Mrs lol).
30-something from the Midlands and work for a UK video games developer. Currently have a mamed bookies cab, but may switch to something else in the future. Probably either a candy or Naomi.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi,
My name is Rick and have been reading AO for a while now, I thought I had an account but maybe it got deleted so I reregistered now that I am a proud owner of a Sega Naomi Universal.
Only one problem, the arcade virus has got me sick and am now buying my way trough history.
My girlfriend sees this as "one of my many hobbies" and is completely fine with it.

Welcome
You've won the main battle already, getting a missus who's ok with this hobby
Still, you always have the 'it only cost a tenner from eBay' route in the future should it become an issue!

Yeah you're right, problem is more with the "Ooew me likey, me want" and then buying the whole lot.
Our delivery guy even knows my name (fairly big city, so not normal)

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hey everyone, Found your forum recently after doing some google image searches for Naomi cabs and damn you guys have some nice stuff. I've just got myself the controller/seat off a Naomi DX and I'm going to be making that into some machine for me to play with. First machine so I'm looking forward to it.

Figured it's time I drop in to this corner of the internet and see what's up.
