Hi all,
I'm from Denmark and just recently took the step from console games to arcade games.
I'm a big fan of shmups, VS fighting and crisp CRT screens.
As I write I am waiting for my Sega New Astro City to be delivered from neo-legend.com in Paris.

Hi all !

I'm a french arcade addict who decided to sign up here to share some of my passion with all of you. I'm a big fan of japanese Candy Cabs. I had previously an AtomiswaveSD, now a classy G-Balance cabinet that I want to get rid of and soon a little Madonna from Irem that will look rad in my appartment ^^. I'm also a big Capcom fan (CPS system > all) and an occasional shmupper (Treasure, Cave, Irem)
Aside from that I'm working as a CG artist in the video game industry... And d*mn fan of my job !

Cheers !

Hi everyone,

I'm in Ireland and long been retro gaming fan. Always loved the old arcade cabs from when I was a kid and had tentatively looked into picking a cab of my own up. However, a trip to Japan last year changed my mind. I fell in love with arcades all over again while there and ever since have had a longing for a candy cab of my own to bring some of that magic here to Dublin for myself.

I love shmups, Cave and Treasure are favourites. Hoping to get to know a few like minded people, if anyone in Ireland or UK have any pointers that would be great.

Also, where do I get some of those cool legos on the main page :-) They'd go well on my desk in work.

So - it hasn't been that long, but I'm now the proud new owner of a Naomi Universal cab. I need to get a GD-ROM and some new buttons, but it feels pretty awesome already!

Sup guys.

I am running the German fighting game community forums HardEdge.org. I started collecting around 2004 (way to late by the way) and i guess there won't be an end to it soon. And I finally took the time to register here. Should have done it earlier as well because the German arcade scene is very small and not also very inactive in the areas i am interested in. Back then as a kid Street Fighter II has always been a dream (like the holy grail to) own and that idea pretty much started all the madness i own now ... :D

So see you around.
Regards

Hi, I have been in the hobbie of gaming for over 30 years I started buying arcade boards in early 2000, I have 1 "dynamo" style Jamma cabinet, which used to be a dedicated Street fighter II:CE cab that I replased the sticks and buttons with all Happ parts, I got out of the hobby for a while due to other obligations (I am married and I study a martial art 2 very big time consumers ) but now I'm trying to come back, and may need help with some of the basics again.

Hi, I'm Tom from Bristol. My SFIIX PCB arrived today so I guess the next logical step (after changing the battery) is to get a candy cab. Better start saving. :(

Brand new to this arcade stuff. Just recently discovered a whole host of games I didn't know existed mainly triforce titles like Mario Kart Arcade and F-zero GX. Want to learn more about the hardware and games.

Also for those curious about my name a good explaination can be found here.
