Great, thanks. Please add that link and your username to your sales threads until you have at least 5 positive feedback as a seller here.

Hmm I only see a little hand on my own post and can't leave feedback for myself obviously.

You need to respond to feedback given to you, if you're the seller.

I hate the new feedback system. Lost out on feedback because of it. Not sure why I feel like the only person speaking up on this when people are texting me "sorry I can't work out the feedback system at AO" etc I've actually given up caring I'm afraid to say :problem:

I'm not a fan of it either, can't give feedback for freebies and it was much easier to click on someone's profile and just add the feedback.

Yeah, I wanted to leave some nice feedback for Franco (for his cracking mini cab control panels) just the other day. I spent ages trying to with no avail :( sorry you know I <3 you Fran :whoopsie:

I believe it's the only option since the phpbb update. For now at least.

I don't see the big issue really. The buyer gives the seller feedback by clicking the thumbs up in the OP and the seller responds to the feedback given. How hard can it be?

It's impossible to leave FB if there's no thumbs up icon displayed, as was the case for my recent purchase.

Which thread is it not showing on?

There is no other option for feedback with phpbb 3.1. I tried to get in touch with the author of the old system numerous times with no result. This one is in active development and serves its purpose.

It could be argued that giving feedback for free items isn't a good idea either, although we've all done it.

I encounter this constantly in my day job and it drives everyone who does any sort of IT work bonkers. If we aren't told about a problem we can't do anything about it.

Not a 100 here but I think threads in the marketplace that was started before the upgrade needs an edit of the OP for being marked as a WT-sale/trade/buy thread. Which would be the case of FB's thread since it was created on Apr 11 except for that it's in the business section which doesn't have feedback turned on - or so it seems :problem:

Well, people tell me they don't know how to leave feedback for me. Don't mean to be troublesome but my feedback is that it was simple and worked before, and it's not that intuitive. And two of these people are very common / regular users. Sorry man, you know I support the site and I don't mean to sound harsh. Just honest feedback.

In my opinion it should be possible to add feedback also in a second way. Nobody will open a new sales thread for just giving feedback, to much hassle and it makes the sales section a lot less viewable. Is there no way to add this "add feedback" button again somewhere on the site? Like this everybody will be able to give feedback and the other party can respond to this given feedback then.

Just my 2 cents.

I think the way it's working now is actually better. If you want to receive feedback for a sale you need to make it public. Creating a thread for a sale/puchase isn't that much work and due to the level of activity in the Marketplace those threads will be pushed down the pages real quick and purged.

Sorry for the delay, real life in way.

Regarding Francos thread, I think the best way would be to isolate business & eBay entirely in that section and move any of these private projects into the appropriate normal sales section. Thoughts?

As for private sales feedback I can see areas where it would be desirable, however it is not possible with the extension as it is (despite the backend being technically capable of it, or I wouldnt have been able to transfer the old feedback).

At the moment I am concerned that the authors have abandoned it already, as if it breaks during a phpBB upgrade we are stuffed.

Not seeing the icon on this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=28170

Took me a few minutes to figure out why I couldn't just leave feedback through his feedback page. :problem:
