On the arcadeotaku.com landing page the logo and links are centre aligned but the recent tweet list is left aligned. Been like this for a few weeks. Using iPhone.
Dunno if it's just me. I still visit by typing the first letters of arcadeotaku in the address bar so I'm probably one of the few that'd notice.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to start a thread with some pics, but I can't make it work, although I have done it in the past... Any guide on how to post photos in the forum? I am starting to feel like a grandma using whatsapp.

I normally upload to imgur then post the large thumbnail bbcode into my post. That way you don’t need to worry about resizing.

Convoluted, but works for me…
I post a pic on discord (I use my own that nobody else is on so I can just spam whatever pics in it), click the picture so it opens up, then drag that picture into imgur on a tab in chrome.
Then copy the forum link from ‘share options’, and paste into my posts…

I'm not sure I understand the unnecessary step here?
Why to Discord?
You're using your phone, I take it? Navigate to imgur.com/upload. If you're using Chrome, then from Settings choose 'Desktop site'. It should auto-reload. Then just press 'Choose Photo / Video'.
Imgur wants you to use the mobile app, but you don't have to use it if you don't want to.

Discord resizes/compresses more aggressively I suppose.
I usually use a little free app called Image Size.

Basically that…
All resized and less faffing.
I can never successfully post images from my phone. Even trying the ‘desktop version’ suggestion above turns my images into clickable thumbnails and other annoying crap.
The convoluted way I do it seems to resize it correctly and post just a straight image to the thread.
You’d think I’d be more technologically literate
On topic of the thread… like button for posts???
I’m not sure if it might be annoying, but sometimes I see stuff that I don’t really have a constructive or valuable thing to say in response, but I’d still like to show appreciation or support…

The software here does it's own resizing.
The attached image was 2.4MB before attaching.

That’s fine if I’m on here for something specific, but for example when I was getting a lot of help and advice on my first cab, I was posting the same updates here and UKVAC, so with straight forum code pictures, I could simply copy and paste the entire post as the images weren’t just hosted here…

Normally I would agree with you, but if you're uploading to imgur, who cares. I'm sure they can afford the extra bandwidth.

To be honest I was thinking of the AO "image exceeds..." message but maybe that doesn't happen anymore.

Why do you need discord? I host my photos in Imgur, there is no way for links to display?

Bough a PCB from this user and was going to leave positive feedback.
app.php/userfeedback/feedback?u=458
It gives me:
"Cannot load XML: Start tag expected, '<' not found"

Fixed it. I'm a bit baffled how it's not been reported before, the root cause has been present since the last major version change in 2017.
