Could we increase the maximum inbox messages? 200 is a bit low and I'd like to keep history instead of keep deleting.

There's an option to export as a spreadsheet at the bottom of a mailbox page.

ok, i tried that now but it only exports 1 page at a time even if all messages are displayed (split into 10 pages).

Yeah as a hoarder (!) it absolutely pains me to delete them. I actually deleted all of my outbox messages thinking it would create more space just to hang onto the inbox ones - then saw it's 200 per inbox/outbox :lolno:

I beleive you should have an option to add a couple of folders:

I created Archive folders for Inbox and Sent, and moved some stuff into them to free up space
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

:shifty: sorry storage admins :whoopsie:

It's only 2 folders that can be created, so it still has a limited amount of storage. Handy though.

As the AO homepage cannot display the twitter update, how about letting the homepage just be the AO wiki page with a more visible link to the forum - or even a feed of the latest posts?

Failing that, how about setting up a bot to take a screenshot from the AO twitter page every new tweet, then setting that in place of the current defunct feed link as an imbedded link to AO on twitter?

That way the AO homepage will see whatever the latest tweet is, and you can just click on the pic to get to twitter?

Don't laugh at my suggestions, I am not good with computer.

I think the splash page just needs a revamp. A simple black background with the logo and "Forum, Wiki, Discord, Twitter" at the top will do. I'd do it myself but I haven't touched Dreamweaver in 20 years and would probably delete the database.

The Twitter feed can make a comeback once Space Karen has finally cut his losses.

I think AO should promote the wikipedia more. It should be THE source of information to go to when someone searches the web.

We need an app, think about all the members logging in after 7 years to sell an expensive PCB, they need to be able to do that from the train

Any chance of adding an [iframe] extension? I was thinking of starting a Pico-8 thread and it'd be nice to embed carts as a player.

Might be a security issue. Some people suggest limiting ability to a user group with a certain amount of posts.

Enormous security issue.

I dunno how much traction you'd get, but requesting a certain site gets added to https://s9etextformatter.readthedocs.io/ would be the way to go.
