Re: Forum questions, suggestions and bugs.
Where's the best place in the forum to open a " arcade project " thread?
A thread where to update regularly, with pictures, questions and everthing related to our collections?

Re: Forum questions, suggestions and bugs.
Hey guys,
Why am I getting this message "You are not authorised to read private messages that are on hold." when trying to read my PM's?
Thanks,
Eddie

Re: Forum questions, suggestions and bugs.
Maybe there could be a stickied example sales thread in the marketplace?
Create a "test dummy" account and with it post a sales thread in the marketplace that sets a good example. Then an admin/mod could comment on it in a checklist manner pointing out what was obligatory information, and after that lock the thread to prevent the unavoidable 'MP send' posts in it.

Do you think people would actually look at it? It says what should be included at the top of every page in the marketplace and still people ignore it.

Just trying to think of alternatives to just deleting sales threads without a warning if they break the rules (which is what I would do)

Re: Forum questions, suggestions and bugs.
You know the 'home' page for AO, is there a reason why it looks like it is set up for mobile browsing?
Also, speaking of that page, any chance it can be integrated into like a permanent thread or something, or have an official AO twitter news thread?
I only ask because there is a ton of cool stuff that gets linked there, and I rarely check it out, or twitter.
How about just a link to it, - like how the wiki is set up? ... But don't tell me if I haven't noticed a link that is on the forum all this time...

Re: Forum questions, suggestions and bugs.
It reminds me of GeoCities JP sites from the late 90s.
There are various sane ways of integrating the Twitter/main page into the forum, if anyone else would like it done I'll see what I can do?

Re: Forum questions, suggestions and bugs.
Right, I've settled on hooking in a link to the @arcadeotaku twitter feed as a subforum from Arcade Games, and I've shoved some (hopefully) appropriate kanji in to link to the home page.
