If you're gaming from 7 metres away, yes.

What a valuable nugget in the sales thread. Psh.

These monitors are fab, plenty big enough. Stunning picture and super rare to find these in any way recapped and in the condition listed.

240p mostly (there is a 4:3 setting + overscan if you want it slightly larger). 4:3 viewable will be around 20 inches.

Stunning picture:

Supports 240p - 720p/1080i You can also hook up your Xbox 360/PS3 etc.

It's the perfect retro console monitor.

Like everything retro the most obvious usecase would be display and/or investment. Wouldn't want to increase the hours-counter!

My other one has 42,000 hours  This was a spare, but I think the 42k one will last until I am old (or dead).

Big only in comparison to the tiny 20" pvm/bvms . The 32" are not bigger than what most of us has in our living rooms mid nineties .

I think he meant they were originally sold for broadcast/professional use, but that doesn't stop them from being awesome gaming monitors. I know people who still use these for colour grading.

Also, 24" is too small for him.

Well yeah, everyone buys them for retro gaming these days. Was he not assuming the same thing in the first post?

The size queening is just odd, but I think he’s probably just trolling the price tbh. I shouldn’t worry myself about it.

I’ll delete all the guff if you want but it’s sold now anyway.

Thanks @pubjoe. I was a little confused by the comments too.

It's getting collected on Friday, cash on collection (I hope).

Surely the comments were due to the aspect ratio. You wouldn't buy a monitor like this to play 4:3 retro consoles on.

16:9 stuff on the other hand will look :awe:
