Hello. I have a Blast city with a pretty burn nanao ms2930.
I will like to swap the tube because the chassis seems to be working ok. I have a donor, a 29" philips blackline fx with an ESF tube (A68ESF002X111) with similar curvature. I cannot use the original yoke from the nanao because this is a tv set without rings but a friend that tried this exact same thing made it to work.
The problem was that he was not able to focus the picture correctly, presumebly because he didnt change the high voltage from the chassis, it seems that this tube needs 31.5kv. There are also another minor geometry issues that probably can be addressed changing the s-cap and with some magnets.
The question is: will this ever work correctly? How can i adjust the high voltage of the chassis to match the tube? I dont have tools to measure high voltage, is there a way to make this operation without dying like with a control voltage circuit somewhere or so?
Thanks.
Will a tube from a sega naomi (nanao ms-2933/4) will be a drop in easy and better swap? It could be that i can find one of those without burn.

2930,31,32,33,34 should all be compatible with maybe a heater resistor value mod
if you want to adjust hv then you need a hv probe, i test hv on every chassis i ever replace a flyback on
