28" Polo Star Tri Sync Chassis on Ms2932 tube

Post by Sunder »

I was wondering if it's possible, I'm not entirely sure about the values I see on the wiki as I've been told it's not right.
Is this doable? The reason being, my ms2932 chassis is a little worse for wear and the Polo Star is still pretty fresh.
Also the added benefit of trisync.

Hi Grantspain.

I've seen a few cabs in Portugal running a Polo 2 Star on a flat panasonic 29" tube. Never knew the values of that yoke, but the picture was pretty stunning. Do you think it could work on a MS9 yoke?

on a ms9-29 yoke it will work, not sure about vertical size but the horizontal inductance is similar
