Toshiba PF PB9929

Post by Ariya »

Hi there, my pf suddenly have a very strange behavior, basically iam setting the very best values for brightness cont ecc ecc, then not playing for a while, the monitor it seems to go back to it's default values very dimm, forcing everytime to increase the brightest and cont to get the desired picture.
It seems that doesn't keep the saved settings or whatsoever,

Anyone with the same issue?

Just let you guys know, that i reflowd almost the entire chassis, flyback and transformers (except tiny welds) and it's appears to working great!

No more geometry problems, and contrast issues.

I've had a similar problem with a 1843.... Thought the caps were bad with jittering and low blue- during the recap, most of the caps were still good; but lots and lots of bad solder.
