Hi!
I got a MS9-29T in my Capcom Impress cab. Everything working ok, but I get some interference that could be cap related.
After reading Mike Modfitt’s great guide to MS9 (http://mikejmoffitt.com/pages/ms9-hax/) this looked like it could be worth a shot:
“What does set this model apart - and I still don't understand why - is that the primary section does not feature the following capacitors: C994, C992, or C991. The latter two are X-capacitors. If you use this chassis in another cabinet, you are likely to experience interference. You can use this chassis in other machines with no trouble, but populate those caps if you do”
Does anybody have the correct values for C994, C992, or C991?
Dirty pic from ebay I am missing those blue **** on mine.
Solved: Nanao MS9-29A or MS9-29SU cap values

Re: Help needed: Nanao MS9-29A or MS9-29SU cap values
For those who are interested, here are some info regarding this issue.
I think this is a good solution... fingers crossed
C994, C992, and C991 are ceramic safety capacitors used to reduce EMI/RFI interference on the AC-line. Caplist under is for the MS9-29SU chassis.
Datasheet for this cap
And the cap I am thinking about ordering from mouser. Both a X1 and Y1 safety capacitor suitable for industrial use.. Should be fine for my MS9
