I have a MS9 that curls in at the sides and then snaps back:

The electrolytic caps have been replaced, the hot was swapped (it had a D1887 before, I put a legit 2SC4692 in). B+ was stable at 115.3 (24khz). It does this in 15khz as well.
EDIT: I cranked B+ to 119V which it's supposed to be at, I think. Didn't make a lick of difference. Had it running for 10 minutes, then the picture went out accompanied by a high pitched whine.
