NANAO MS-9 “speckling”
This issue has been going on for quite a while and bugs me. I get black speckles in the picture and cannot figure out what causes this. Other than that, my picture looks great. The speckles are really visible against light colored backgrounds. The chassis has been rebuilt. Thoughts?

never seen a chassis fault like apart from interference from marquee light or earth issue, possibly power supply or even game board issues
you could try powering on cab with psu and marquee light unplugged and then adjust to a raster and see what happens

I’ve tried this monitor outside of the cab and still has the same problem. I don’t think it’s interference. I was thinking the ground isn’t what it should be. The chassis is a replacement that got rebuilt, but the tube came out of trashed versus city that was dumped outside in the garbage for years. I’m thinking the neck pins are corroded or the grounding strap that on the back isn’t doing a good job.

maybe some oxidization on the crt socket or the crt neck pins
