NNC Monitor Help

Post by hesch »

I'm a big tech/pc geek, but I know little to nothing about arcade monitors. I know the NNC used a tri-sync 27" tube, which I haven't had any luck finding. But I did find a couple of potential candidates that I'd like to look at this weekend when I'm in Chicago. The First is a Happ SE-M23V29, and the second is a 27"...Sony-RG KTMF? Both appear to be in good working condition, with the Sony only having 80 hours on it supposedly. Anyone know if either of these are tri-sync or would even fit in a NNC?

the happ must be a rebranded weiya or rodotron and i expect its flat crt, is the original tube on that cab a flat crt? if so its likely to fit with or without some minor frame mods- this is a tri sync monitor if it is a 3129 or a 666 chassis
I have no idea what the other monitor is, possibly a sharp image

some photos or links to the items would be handy

I honestly can't remember what kind of bezel I have. I do know that the NNC has 3 different style bezels for flat/curved tubes, so worst case I can try and trade with someone.

Arcade chassis that works with Trinitrons? That's neat.
