Hi all, been reading the forums for a bit they're always very helpful!
Recently my Astro City's monitor stopped powering on, I noticed an arc around fuse F902 so I immediately unplugged and removed the chassis.
After visual inspection (the chassis is super filthy, I will get that cleaned up). NTH901 appears faulty (cracked in two essentially). From some reading I've determined this is a thermistor in the deguass circuit.
I guess this boils down to three questions for me:
1) Is this likely the root cause of the issue?
2) Is this thermistor cracking an indicator of a larger issue with the chassis?
3) Is there a known replacement for this thermistor I can order? (I've read that it could be a MCM Electronics # 33-650 Globar Thermistor, is that correct?)
Attaching a picture of the trouble area. Thanks again!

Re: Nanao MS8-29FSG issues
thats a NTC 7 ohms, it could be the issue
This acts as a inrush current limiter and affects the entire AC input circuit

Thanks for the reply!
I'm looking on Newark at the ICL NTC's and there's loads of different, would you happen to know of a replacement part off hand / anything to avoid?
Thanks again.

Great, thanks! I'll order that and swap it out and move on with my troubleshooting. Appreciate it.
