I have received the HR 6415 wich is what HR Diemen supply as replacement for sony 1-439-372-32 (PVM 2130qm) but The HR one have the scrren pot on the flyback otherwise the genuine one not because on 2130qm the screen pot is located on the neck board.
Have any of you tried to install one of these HR flybacks on a PVM? Do you have any advice?

The upper pot must be focus and I think that was present on the original flyback too. The lower one looks just an empty hole to me. The question is why does it have a third wire when you only expect two? Check resistance across the black and white wires with a meter that supports at least 200Mohm.

Isn't that just the wire for the anode? It starts white and then turns red after a while. No idea why.

You are right. There are only two wires coming out of the flyback. This visual shows where the white wire becomes red with some sleeve covering the joint:

https://www.donberg-electronics.com/pics/h/hr_6415.jpg
(it also shows the empty hole for thwe G2 wire)

The pinout of the HR doesn't completely match the original though. The B+ is on pin 4 on the HR and on pin 5 on the original. Not optimal, may result in ringing (organ pipes aka jailbars). A mod may be required.

First of all Thank you so much for helping me. And yes there is not screen wire but the depressed pot appear just like a working one, the most waries are for the pinout.. Surely the HR 6415 is direct swap for the Sony 1-439-372-13 used in a lot of 25-27" trinitron tvs, 2130qm have this one 1-439-372-32 from hr diemen the replacement is the same hr6415.
While I'm tempted to try it, I'm afraid of damaging something

The G2 voltage on this monitor is not EHT-derived. The source is the HOT collector which is about 1000Vpp. This voltage is rectified to DC and the 1000VDC is sent to the neckboard where you have the adjusting pot. Pretty much all Sony displays of that time including TVs were like that. As for the pinout I don't think you're going to do any damage but the picture may have the defects I mentioned above. It shouldn't be hard to modify the traces around the flyback to send the B+ to pin 4.

I see, so the B+ pin seems out of place but I do not have the slightest intention of giving up I'll study the circuit well and see if I can do something.

What's the issue with this monitor? Are you sure it's the flyback and not something else?

Anyway I would do it like this. The first time I would disconnect the 200V wire from the neckboard to see if the voltage is correct:

Thanks for your advice!
This pvm works great! It have an awesome White and colors I have already recqpped the psu and some caps on deflection area (D board) wich was startiing to alter they esr value and now its geometry its Perfect , I want replace the flyback just because it is a bit noisy but still works.
Despite its age, the tube is in perfect condition, really I set the contrast at half and the white still so great! It is better than my 2054qm wich is good too!

What do you mean it's noisy? Do you mean interference in the screen or actual audible noise?

If it's the latter, are you sure it's the flyback making the noise?

Personally I would never replace the original flyback out of these unless it was faulty.

Non problem on screen, just audible noise.

No idea if it's electrically compatible. All I can say is that unlike the HR replacement it doesn't have the focus wire built in so it's like the original flyback. With the HR you would need to desolder the socket, open it, desolder the old wire and solder the new one.

Hi
You were able to finally get the flyback installed?
You had to bypass a track to install it and change pin 4 to 5, or you installed it with the new pin configuration of HR DIEMEN?

Purcheased a new flyback from ebay, it is genuine Sony with a different code label: 1-439-372-13 and this one works flawlessly!

Anyone wanting to bypass a faulty HVR / tripler block but to still monitor the flyback voltage for safe operation Ive been talking with a chap on Reddit about doing this mod on a 2130QM PVM -

1.Turn off the monitor and safely discharge the anode cap

2. Remove the anode cap lead from the red HVR and the red cable returning to the flyback, these will need junctioning/ soldering together & potting in a suitable box.

3. Use the 24v supply on TP98 & connect it to TP85 through a voltage divider, the voltage going to TP85 should be about 13.3V
- see diagram -

Increase the voltage with the 2.2k trimmer until the high voltage shuts down, then turn the unit off at the switch, turn the trimmer halfway in the opposite direction. Turn the unit back on and adjust the voltage to a point just a little lower than it was when it went into shutdown.

This is one I built up and tested for reference
