Looks like everything is connected as it should.
Did you have a multimeter?

The never ending story continues...
I've tried two different MS9's with the matching adapter cables. Absolutely nothing. No signs of life.
Then I've tried again the old, probably faulty, Sanwa chassis. I've received nothing but a white horizontal line this time. Not even a flickering picture anymore.
I've received a MS8 chassis today and attached everything to the tube, no adapters needed. The result however is the same as with the Sanwa: only a horizontal line...
I'm really getting desperate by now, as I don't have any clue what I could do anymore.
Does anyone of you experienced guys here have any idea what I could check next?

read the vertical yoke winding impedance

Just measured the yoke:
Yellow & Green: 5,7 Ohms
Red & Blue: 0,6 Ohms
Here's a picture of the shown line:
If I adjust the remote potis, the chassis shuts down the high voltage.

unless you have loads of faulty chassis with the exact same fault then i would say there is an issue in the vertical winding of the yoke

That doesn't sound good...
Would you say the monitor can be repaired?
Are the measured Ohms in a "regular" range?

you need to prove the issue before doing that, in other words you either need to test the chassis on a different tube or try a different yoke

Here we go again...
Thanks to yosai, I was able to source down a Nanao compatible yoke pretty quickly.
Unfortunately the failure image stays pretty much the same:
It's really no fun anymore, 2 chassis, 2 yokes, 2 times the same failure?! Oh and of course I've cross checked the PSU. Same failure with a confirmed working one from another cab.
How's that even possible? Any further ideas? grantspain? nem? Have you ever had something simillar in the past?

so you put a working chassis onto that tube and you still get vertical collapse- do you also swap the remote board?

I'd check the remote board connections and the cable itself. It may be that the ribbon cable has been damaged.

I'm pretty sure you still have some deflection even if you have the remote unplugged.
Worth a look in any case.

I will receive another MS8 with remote in 1-2 weeks.
My technical knowledge is far from being a professional, but if it won't be either of the already swapped parts (chassis, yoke and soon remote board), what's left?

Nothing.
