My search for a 31khz monitor to put in my Sega universal cab yielded this: a Wells Gardner 27" 27D9204
https://www.highway.net.au/arcade-parts ... 03-33.html
Does anybody have any experience with this tube/chassis combo? I searched quite a bit for this particular model but have had no real luck..
I initially didn't bother with it because I thought I needed a 29" but from what I've been reading with 29/27" monitors, it's 29" end to end but 27" viewable.
This will be the most affordable 31khz in Australia at the moment and if it's somewhat decent, I'm happy to buy it and put it in my cab.
If I get this 31khz, the universal will be used purely for 360 and DC.
Any thoughts on this chassis/tube combo?
TIA

I'm on my 2nd WG D9200. The first one I bought was taken from another machine of unknown origin. Lasted a year before it went pop, and was unfixable. The 2nd on I got (and still use) was virtually brand new with only a few hours of use, still boxed. It's a really nice sharp vibrant image, and have it installed in my initial D3 cabinet
