Scud Race/Model 3 24k not sync'ing on both my 29" tri-sync

Hi

I have 2 monitors that are supposed to be tri-sync :
1 Wei-Ya 29" true flat in my Outrun 2 upright - don't know the exact model as I bought it as is & haven't checked
1 Toshiba 29" PF in my NUC converted to New Net City - model is D29C456, which seems to be the Namco equivalent of the D29C051 found in Sega's NNC


None of them accept my Scud Race model 3 board's 24khz VGA output signal directly :
- the Wei Ya does show a picture but does not sync
- the Toshiba shows "NO SIGNAL", same as when nothing's connected

I have confirmed the board syncs & works properly on Egret 2's MS9 in 24k, although the colors are too dark.

According to my OSSC, the refresh rates of my Scud Race are : 24.3Khz/57.45Hz


Also note that I have been able to make other 24khz sources work on the Wei Ya but not all of them :
OK : Mimo Genius 2 (24Khz/60Hz - not measured precisely) :
OK : RetrogameStation (a Rpi3 based all-in-1 emulation system) - System 24 titles (24.88Khz/60.1Hz in OSSC), Syvalion (24.88Khz/59.24Hz in OSSC)
Not OK : RetrogameStation - Narc (24.86Khz/55Hz in OSSC) - does not sync

None of my 24k sources work on the Toshiba, it always shows "NO SIGNAL".


My conclusions are :
- The Wei Ya accepts 24k sources only with a vertical refresh rate close to 60Hz
- The Toshiba is actually only dual-sync ???

So right now my plan is to run Scud Race on the Wei Ya using a Mimo Genius 2, which does framerate conversion and thus introduces stutter.
I haven't tried to go in the Wei Ya service menu as I need to remove the bezel to access it, maybe there's a phase setting in here that can help.

Any thoughts ?

did you try the other video output on the model 3 , some of these multi sync are really picky on sync signals
