Nanao 2930 super dim and remote pot values

Post by zumbito »

Hi, I was tweaking the other day one of my 2930, because the image was incredibly dim. I didn't even noticed it was on, until I turned off the lights:

Any idea why this could be?

I started plating with the remote board, and the brightness pot broke. All the pots are severely rusted so thinking about changing them all, but so they are so rusted I can't see the values. Does any body know them and what should I look for when buying replacements? As if there is different leg widths or number of legs.

I was thinking about showering he chassis with the hose to get rid of the decades of grim piled up in this thing, as I am not going to reassemble it, until I change the pots but knowing these things hold charge, how much should I wait after turning it on?
