A66EAK175X44/L and a chassis to go along with it.
I just found this tube just lying around. The picture actually looks great besides the AIDS that is the 100hz mode that can never be switched off.
Measured the impedance on the yoke and it seems to be about 3.8 on the vertical and 0.07 on the horizontal.
The closest chassis I can find on this range is a Wells Gardner D9200, but living in Slovakia here those are hard to come by.
Are there any other generic chassis that I can use with this one? Or do you guys have any other idea on how to approach this? I know most of you guys will just say to get a proper arcade tube with an MS9 or something but seeing crts around like this makes me want to save them.
Like pandas. Too many tubes being smashed up around here and I can't bear it. I even saw a Bang and Olufsen Beovision TV smashed for it's coil.

Just want to add that it's a 28" tube, and the reason I want to repurpose this one is to use it on my TMNT cab.

It's normally used with Hantarex Polo Star (tri-sync or SVGA). It can also be used with Nanao MS9 as the horizontal inductance is the same.

This is pretty surprising to me, to me it seems like the yoke impedance on both these chassis is much higher than the tube's.PrincessPrinPrin wrote:It's normally used with Hantarex Polo Star (tri-sync or SVGA). It can also be used with Nanao MS9 as the horizontal inductance is the same.
I am admittedly a very noob noob. I\ve only been matching what I've been reading here on the wiki.
Thank you so much for your reply!

SIlly question again. It's been a little tough for me to find either the Polo Star or Ms-9 chassis for a reasonable price or at all.PrincessPrinPrin wrote:It's normally used with Hantarex Polo Star (tri-sync or SVGA). It can also be used with Nanao MS9 as the horizontal inductance is the same.
Would the Polo/2 work with this at all?

The crt socket on the neck board of the Polo Star and MS9 are different, one has more holes than the other. Please correct me if i'm wrong, but i've had a few of those in the past.

Wrong, same socket.

deflection yoke horizontal inductance is completely different, polostar/ms9-29/ms8-29/pm1745 are all 0.300mh whereas polo 2 is about 1.3mh

I don't think we're talking about the same chassis... I will confirm.

There's a blue label on the heat sink near the LOPT which says the tube type that is meant to be used with the chassis. If it's like this you can use your tube. If it says different tubes you'll have to change a few components.

No sticker there. Now I'm not so sure, but apparently the horizontal inductance should be the same. Ah man, don't want to risk it now.

What's the value of R35 on the neckboard?

It works. Haha.
So yeah, it's the same, pretty much. Now I need another one as I also scored another tube from an old Daewoo TV.
Thank you so much PrincessPrinPrin.

Just to clarify I just found out that it works on the same tubes. It's pretty much the same chassis.
