Hi all.
I've asked Grant how to adjust the trapezoid on my Canary (MS8-25FTB) and he was so kind to send me a link to the MS8-25F's manual (from the Wiki).
What's weird is that it refers to a VR1 pot (see image below):
while the Canary's manual does not!
I know the best thing to do is to take the monitor out and have a look but I was wondering if someone could help me out 1) telling me what's written in Japanese and 2) if FTB and F are somehow different or if they're just the same monitor.
I'm asking this here firstly to avoid annoying Grant any further and also to leave some informations that might be useful in the future to other fellow Canary owners.

VR1 Trapezoid adjustment.(1) telling me what's written in Japanese
Probably something similar to this. https://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?t=304542) if FTB and F are somehow different or if they're just the same monitor

Well, I could have guessed thatyosai wrote:VR1 Trapezoid adjustment.(1) telling me what's written in Japanese
Hmm they only refer to the length of the wires...yosai wrote:Probably something similar to this. https://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?t=304542) if FTB and F are somehow different or if they're just the same monitor
What makes me think is that both manuals (cab and monitor) show the very same pictures and informations about image adjustments while only manual's one refers to this VR1 pot
I'll have a look later on tonite.

Re: Nanao MS8-FTB
Your canary may have come with a different chassis
this is one of my MS825-FTB's and VR1 adjust trapezoid, do it carefully as this vertical board is very flimsy.

Re: Nanao MS8-FTB
Thanks!
I've got the same chassis and your post gave me the "inspiration" to pull the monitor out again and toy with the pots (I couldn't access them while still mounted).
Now picture is fine and I can finally play in peace
