Nanao dual 8 18" used in Pony mkii pincushion
Does anyone know if there is any sort of spc pot on these old nanao dual 8 18 monitors used in the pony mkii? Haven't found one mentioned in the dual 8 operators manual.

East west corrections are only present on bigger monitors (25" and above). Smaller ones with 90°tubes are pincushion free and Nanaos are no exception so you will find the SPC trimmer on the MS8-26 but not on the MS8-18.

Yeah I figured as much. There is a spot on the pcb marked spc, but no adjustment pot there. So anyway to counter with manual convergence strips etc?PrincessPrinPrin wrote:East west corrections are only present on bigger monitors (25" and above). Post a pic of the issue. On a 100% working chassis you wouldn't have a pincushion issue (which has nothing to do with convergence so strips would be pointless).

Here is what I mean: this is the left side of the monitor when horizontal.

Only on one side? Probably cap related.
