The combo above is not working for me.
When I turn the cab on with an SH3 game plugged in, the game doesn't come on and I can hear the chassis relay clicking constantly.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I am using this PSU:

Every other PCB I have tried works on this cab, just not SH3 or MiniKAB Pi - found here:

Fixed. I swapped the PSU and it works perfectly now.
The one I'm using now is 15amp on 5v line.

Interesting. I would have thought the RT125A could handle SH3 easily. Good to know!

I guess it would be fine for Superguns?nem wrote:Interesting. I would have thought the RT125A could handle SH3 easily. Good to know!

Not sure why it would fare any better in a supergun? You're just powering the board with it, right?
For the record, I have a RT-125A here. It's a good little unit, but I guess 12A for 5V is exaggerated.

Well mine is powering the monitor and the PCB. But I guess the monitor is only using the 12volt line?nem wrote:Not sure why it would fare any better in a supergun? You're just powering the board with it, right?

Another difference between the RT-125A and the PSU which I put in 2 days ago is the 12v line is rated 3amp on the RT. 4amp on the other generic PSU.
Do you have any SH3 games?

Monitor at 12V? I don't think so. Your monitor runs at 110V for sure.zak wrote:Well mine is powering the monitor and the PCB. But I guess the monitor is only using the 12volt line?

I do, but the PSU is currently in a dedicated racing cab and I'm not going to bother taking it outzak wrote:Do you have any SH3 games?
I was going to order a bunch of them, because the RT-125A is one of the few PSUs with a -5V rail that I can buy pretty cheaply in bulk, but maybe I'll hold off for now.
