i have 2 x 2931 here just sent it with same fault,i will get onto them next week but fet and hot are reading fine-there is a small custom module near the flyback and i think that may be the issue,like i said i won't know until i look at them correctly

If it is the same issue as my 2930 which is currently being repaired by an expert then your tube neck is internally shorted/melted. There is a failure in the power circuit which causes voltage to go way too high, bypassing any safety mechanisms and killing the tube. My symptoms were exactly the same as yours. You can repair the chassis but you will need a new tube, and you should not connect the chassis to a working tube before you are 100% sure it's repaired.Rood wrote:In my case everything was cleaned and tested thoroughly by princessprinprin but the issue is somewhere in the power circuit.

I'll try not to think about that option too much because I'm already **** off enough. I only got about 2 hours worth of playtime since it arrived 2 months ago
