i need a service circuit diagram for the Wei-Ya C3129.
i hope someone can help me

no but i have the rodotron 666a chassis which is almost identical
looking at you problem and also the amount of width needed I think you need to check the b+ voltages,I think you may have both the 15k and 31k b+ a little low

thanks for the diagram.
b+ is already on max. the width needs only 1-2 cm more in 31khz .15 and 24 are perfect.
i think changing a resistor in the east-west modulation could work.

are you aware that the b+ 15khz pot affects the 31khz vastly on width?

thanks to your soldering shematic i put a 1,2nf 3kv capacitor parallel to c85 and everything works fine.
now i have a toshiba tv tube (from a grundig xentia) in my egret3 with runs with the original chassis and give the best 15khz picture out i have ever seen (31 and 24 Khz are fine,too)!
such tvs were sold on ebay for 20-40 euro or with a little bit luck you can find it on bulky waste

of course,
i´m not finished with adjusting, on the lower right side i have to put a magnet to to became a good line, but this is a issue, that you habe near with every tube. but here you have a few pics.
the quadrats has in the middle a other size compared to the sides left and right, i think this is an issue with the wei-ya chassis, couse i had near the same with the original samsung tube

i have exactly the same issue here,
i took a magnet from an old yoke and fitted it with pattex special glue
here is the magnet:

after: hmmm, in real it looks 100% better than on the pics.....

btw: a few weeks ago i changed the tube from my blast city with a grundig tv semi curved tube, too...
but there was no problem, the tube was exactly the same with the same yoke...so it was only plug and play

on a serious note i think tinchen has come up with a very good fix for the pincushion problem with the magnet and the cap for width problem
important now that the b+ is set correctly
all we need now is a fix for the side compression on some crt and its the tri sync licked

the fix with the side compression of the wei-ya chassis is doable,too...but its quiet complicated, you have to change one or some inductor and so on....
i would like to have a list with tvs who have compatible toshiba tubes for different cabs...
i´ve only found 2 for now....semi flat for blast city or naomi and a compatible flat screen tube for egret3.

Thats the wrong type of cap you are using there.. Look at the size of the one thats in parallel with it!
I'd replace it with a 2kv poly cap.

the thin magnetic strips are very fine geometry adjustment-for instance if the blue is 1mm out from the rest,for something like compression a much stronger magnet would be needed-be real careful when messing around that area btw as you could get a real nasty shock

You should be able to straighten the top out with a fairly strong magnet or two.

Steal one out of a kitchen unit to test. Obviously be careful around the back of the tube.
