Wei Ya / Huaii and Toshiba Monitor question
So i've been trying to get an XBOX inside a Blast City.
I can't for the life of me get it to work on any of the machines with the manual sync monitors. It seems as soon as you adjust the size and position of the picture beyond a certain point the picture disappears.
I found two of my machines have these modern looking flat screen monitors inside them.
The XBOX works great so i've and the picture is fantastic, however each one has an issue.
One of them (the Toshiba one) has a breakout board with various controls, but no colour adjustment. It seems to be very brown, perhaps a warm colour profile. Is there any way to change this? On the chassis perhaps?
The other one (the Wei Ya) has a good picture, and good colour, but the vertical size is squashed. It needs adjusting, but i can't find a breakout board, or even any pots on the chassis. Any ideas how i can adjust the size?
Any help would be brilliant, really hit a hurdle with these guys.
(sorry for the bad pics, only had my phone and no good light on me so couldn't get could shots of the chassis themselves. Can get more if they would be helpful)

Re: Wei Ya / Huaii and Toshiba Monitor question
Someone on the Neo Arcadia forum reverse engineered the advanced remote board for Toshiba pure flat monitors. See if you can track one down. There's a thread on the subject here somewhere.
What cab is the Wei-ya in? If it's an AWSD/Egret 3 the remote board is behind the coin mech.

Hi man, thanks a lot for the response.
Will check for that thread, thank you. The advanced board would have options for colour on it you think? Is that the only way to adjust those settings?
The Wei Ya is in a Blast City, nothing in the panel, but will check around the coin mech and see if i can find it.
Thanks again!

Ah yes, I forgot there's a workaround.
Worth contacting Firewall to see if he has any of his service remotes too http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic. ... 1&p=256980

FYI the 2930 has this exact same issue, it doesn't like the sync output from the Xbox 360.
If you clean up the signal it will work fine. See here: http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?t=27732

Been searching for the remote board, but nothingSuperPang wrote:Someone on the Neo Arcadia forum reverse engineered the advanced remote board for Toshiba pure flat monitors. See if you can track one down. There's a thread on the subject here somewhere.

Is it normal for some monitors to come without?
I'll try and get some better pics of the inside of the cab in case that points towards any possibilities.

chassis would not run without a remote board, just follow the mass of wires from the chassis
