Sega Astro City Toshiba monitor help

Post by dootbeep » February 13th, 2016, 5:09 pm

Hey there folks! I just got a new Game King yesterday and when I plugged it in, the colors for my Astro cab Toshiba monitor were very dull and ugly. I've messed with the 2 knob adjusters on the back of the monitor board and even the adjusters when you open up the joystick area but no luck.

The colors were SUPER vibrant and just like the arcades, back in the day, when I GameBox 2012 was plugged into it.

It was shipped 1000 miles to get here so maybe something got moved around?

Any help would be great. I'm a n00b to this stuff so please use terms I can understand haha

Thanks everyone here!

I think mine has the same problem. It is a blast city. No idea how to fix it.

Is this just with your game king, in other words do you have other material to test with? It seems your brightness setting is way off. There's 2 things I can think of, but you tried both. The knob on the flyback at the back of your monitor and the left knob under your CP is for brightness. What differences do you see when you turn these?
