I guess in Germany they are a bit harder when it comes to physical work.. my colleagues are supposed to lift and carry ~50kg the whole day and not just lifting it up 50cm once a day..
Me personally have absolutely no problem lifting 29" monitors and even more than just out of the cabinet (see my Naomi workout which needed to get to the 8th floor without any dolly or second person)
and my plasma television + glass stand is more than 50kg and my huge sony vega crt weighs more than 50kg as well..
I only want to say, that it's possible for one person if you are clever while lifting and have something in your arms..
..and it may help if you aren't 48 years old!

..it's okay to get a second person!
