Projection TV monitor and PC,MAME owners gather round

I'm trying to get as much info together as possible on this subject because i don't see it covered nearly enough.
Can anybody that has a big rear projection arcade screen setup with a PC, or rear projection TV setup with a PC please add as much info as possible on the process involved.
Things like:
TV size, model, KHz, Hz, design(CRT LCD)
Problems encountered, restrictions
Cables need(rgb scart hacks) graphic cards, software and hardware used
Mame resolutions
