Re: NANAO MS-2930S service manual
watch out for a faulty switch on the control pcb for the frequency setting, easy to prove by using a multimeter to check continuity whilst operating the switch
someone else on this fourm had the exact same issue and i have seen it happen on one chassis myself

Re: NANAO MS-2930S service manual
I second the request for the service manual.. I picked up 2 dead MS-2930S and have found very little info about them.
One has no glow on the neck and no static, found it had a shorted HOT. Replaced caps and HOT with one out of the other machine and was able to get static and brief neck glow, then it blew the new HOT. I am pulling all of 8v from the +B.
Other had static on startup and very minor glow, then shut off after about 10 seconds when the protection circuit kicked in. Cap kit led to no change. I was able to get 180v from the +B until the circuit kicked in.
Checking through the snubbers until I get my new HOTs, hoping to have progress soon so I can swap them from Mahjong cabinets into a proper NeoGeo/Castlevania.
