sanwa es31 horizontal size/pincushion problem

After many hours hard work I have found what causes this.

Fixed 5 chassis in the last two days with this exact issue.

not at the moment as I have repaired them all

basically the fault is the horizontal size is about 4 to 6 inches too wide and the pincushion control does not work

I just put a NOS 29" Wei Ya into a Blast city and it's doing the EXACT same thing you are mentioning.

I have the Digital OSd to adjust, but the Pincushion and Horizontal Size Adjust isn;t working. What was your fix for the Sanwas? It may be the same for mine too!

Just look at pretty much any Sanwa es31 out there....

i have had a couple in Naomis and each one has suffered this problem

I have only tried it on 31k. I don't have a way to run anything other than that at the moment.

I can see about running a Standard res game in it to test it out.

I would try 15k first as it the res switching circuit swaps out a few high voltage poly caps

Tried all 3 Resolutions. All of them are doing the same thing. Horizontal width adjust and pincushion adjust do not respond.

Any ideas?

i don't have any experience on the 2929 wei ya chassis,if the picture is far too wide then it may be a similar issue to the sanwa es31

What is your fix for the Sanwa Chassis? I had a friend look at it and we are both kind of stumped. All caps look and test good.
