I didn't see any reference to the single black ground wire which should go to the neck board. Did you connect this wire on all the chassis that burned?
(Yes, i fried a monitor once when i didn't connect this wire..)

Thanks, yes the ground was connected to the neckboard.
I think I need a repair of these chassis, they both seem appear to have the same fault (constant clicking on power up and I don't think there is any high voltage output) definitely didn't like this tube connected to it whether it was a scan coil fault or what I don't know. Can anybody help? I've tried local tv repair guys but nobody will touch this stuff.
I only have this one cab here and its been sat like a huge paperweight here for the last 6 months. I just want to play a few games like
