This seems very random but on my capcom impress i'm noticing odd issues where text/2d on screen is bright but the 3D stuff in the background is really really dark (almost hard to see). Also in the configuration screen for cross hatch the center is ok but around the edges the red/blue don't seem to match up perfectly (like in some corners you'll see a faint red line next to the white).
I know my monitor is pretty old (i've had this cab for 12-13 years) but i've never had it running for prolong periods of time (like more then an hour). Yet my cab has gone through quite a few moves over the year. So could there be an alignment issue in the CRT?

Re: Cap Impress - 3D darkness
sounds like the convergence rings need some tweeking or the yoke has dropped slightly
also sounds like you will require some new electrolitic caps

Thanks for the info. Will check those out tomorrow.
