Help! I was turning my monitor on my egret 2 to verticle and whist doing so I heard something break and a lot of air blowing out from the back. When I went to look there was some glass on the bottom. Is it a gonner? What can I do to fix this?
I hope I dont have to buy a new monitor !

Did you check the monitor itself for any breakage?
But I don't think anything else in the E2 is made of glass

That sounds like a textbook necking - you've fractured the neck of the CRT whilst rotating it, and it no longer has a vacuum inside. That sound of air wasn't air blowing out... it was air blowing in!Monstermug wrote:Help! Sadly, you will need a new tube (the chassis will be fine still), there's absolutely nothing you can do to repair the one you have.
