Unknown item from my E2

Hello guys

I have dismantled my monitor and nanao chassis. Now I have found this item on the floor. What is this?
Can it be something like a washer for the monitorcable see pic (I dont know the correct name).

Don't recall that ever. Looks almost like a cell battery holder. And believe me I went full OCD on e2s

It fits onto the prongs in the anode cable you've shown. I can't find any images to show how, though.

Thats the anode ring for your anode cup.
It’s shielding against x-ray emissions + maximum resistance to high voltage tracking.

Push it gently in between the two prongs on your anode cup and your good to go!
See picture.
Since you have already removed the anode cup, it’s perfectly safe to insert the anode ring.

Ps. Clean the inside of that anode cap with some Isopropyl alcohol before reconnecting to your tube.

I had one fall out of a Nanao MS9, as above it just clips back on to the two prongs.
