Hi all,
I'm doing a recap of my JVC CRT and I have some doubts about one capacitor.
This is a 4.7uF 50V BP and I've ordered a 4.7uF 63V BP, but the new one is way more small than the existing one.
The monitor is from 2005 so not so old.
Any spec I would have missed ?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Capacitor details for CRT
The ESR for the original cap will be much lower than the one for your replacement cap. Since it's bipolar, you could maybe replace it with a ceramic one?

Re: Capacitor details for CRT
it is most likely a high frequency capacitor, if you put the replacement in it will likely blow after a short time
highly unlikely the original is bad but read it with a cap meter to be sure

Thanks Guys for guidance.
Then most likely I will not replace it if not dead.
If it is, what kind of reference should I look for then ?
any hint ? cause I don't have ceramic ones

This cap cannot be replaced , this is a bipolar high ripple this is on deflectiion area on all TM-H series. The good news that it Is very reliable.
