Please do!
I have already lost a ton of time testing every combination, and then i noticed the ground was making contact with something else, which made all the tests pointless.

Just tell me what the pin sequence is for each end of the cable, and i can finally sort this mess out.
At this time the answer, in my case is:
- I damaged something
- A resistor on the remote board is faulty.

Even if something is not working on mine, at least i can rest assured i have the pinout right.

Sorry for the delay. Well, I'm not sure if you might have another problem as the chassis and remote pcb numbers are consistent, so..

38 goes to 38
39 goes to 39
Etc..

I confirmed this with a continuity test.

Thanks for clearing that up.
I'll try to figure out what is wrong with mine.

Update:
I rewired everything and i still get no response from the remote.
When i crossed some wires i still get the RGB gain secret menu and the geometry one as well as degauss.

Maybe some of the resistors are jacked. I'll try and replace them.

It seems i may have damaged, or screwed up something related to remote board funcionality.
I have no ideia if shorting any of the wires directly will damage anything in this particular chassis which is about the only thing that happened during this.

I wired everything back but i get no response from the buttons.
I already changed the resistors, with no luck, and checked the continuity on the buttons, which seems fine.

The only behaviour i get from the chassis is, when i turn on the cab i can see the hidden geometry menu with the red selection highlight going up by itself.
And then it stops and doesnt do that anymore.

It's kind of a longshot but does anybody know the circuitry well enough on the chassis side to be able to diagnose this, in any way?
Thank you for any help.

You sure you don't have some button accidentally grounded?

Shame the French guy has stopped doing the custom remote boards, I reckon he could sell another dozen at least, will be pretty hard to find a replacement original :(

Making a replacement one is not that complex with a prototype board, but i reckon it wouldn't solve my problem.
I'll try it anyway. Just gotta get a spare connector and some resistor values i don't have.

I get Geometry and Colour hidden menus on PD1843, i saw a conector in that chasis that also seems to get more remote signals?

Anyone knows the purpose of that arrowed conector?
