1) Violent Storm Asia AAC Konami
2) Dead Connection Taito

Violent Storm region and sound hybrid makes a big difference in value.

If it's Asia, EA or US, much less than the Japanese version.

If the sound is low or those caps have started leaking and corroding parts of the board you can't see, then it's going to be expensive to replace and repair.

I must admit, at this point I'm slightly confused as to why Japanese Violent Storm has shot up so much (when compared to other versions) - when you can basically match the Japanese defaults by just tweaking the service menu of the others. And I say that as someone who has the Japanese version myself.

The 'Japanese Konami tax' makes more sense for Mystic Warriors and Metamorphic Force, which are at least different (Metamorphic Force especially). Although even then, sane people would probably just buy cheaper versions, and burn Japanese ROMs ;)

Pretty sure it is (by default), but you can turn it back on in the service menu :)

I probably should have clarified that I wasn't including myself under that umbrella  Next up, Japanese Mystic Warriors - and then a long stint in the nut house

I'm considering parting ways with my Sega Blast City. How much are these cabs going for now? I'm in Kentucky and, if I do decide to sell it, I'd be wanting to sell locally. The cab is in ok condition, but the monitor could use some work. The convergence is a little off in each of the corners and the lower right corner is unfortunately scratched. Otherwise, it has new Sanwa buttons and is set up for JAMMA with a CPS2 kick harness.

Hmm don't know why the picture ended up on it's side.

The consolette came in three colors from what I've seen. Aqua blue, dark blue (this one) and green. This one has been restored at some point. Screen has light burn-in, only a bit visible on white during gameplay. Monitor is original Toshiba with MS8 chassi. Buttons are newly installed NOS. Joysticks LS32. Complete with locks and keys. No marquee holder.

exact color is the original, I confused with the 18 inch model.
It is a very beautiful machine, if I had the means I would buy it willingly.
